Jonah

-loves lego!
-wants to be an engineer
-has the greatest belly laugh!
-he falls asleep in an instant; I'll tuck him into bed, then go to tuck girlie into bed, come back, and he's out!
-he's a super reader. Even now, in grade one, he's reading at a mid-to-late grade two level - chapter books, and he reads the scriptures SO good!
-when he dances, it's more like kung fu moves, he'll run and then roll on the floor, and land like spiderman, posing - too funny!
-he loves to learn, especially now it's all about germs, viruses, and how the body works
-he loves apples, bananas, yogourt and bread
-he never laughs harder than when he is laughing with Christina - he thinks she is hilarious!
-when he talks to Mariah he uses two voices, his own and "hers". He has all these funny conversations with her. Today Jonah's home from school and white as a ghost sitting on the couch, and he looks at her and says in Mariah's voice "Jonah, I hope you're feeling better soon" to which he replies, "I hope so too."
-he is such a fast runner, and his back is so straight when he runs! I love to watch him - he puts his whole body into it!
-Jonah has crazy good balance, he snowboards like a pro, and at the brook, he hops like a frog from rock to rock - looks just like Gollum.
-even when Jonah was a baby he was making sound effects - a door would close, he'd make the sound, a car would drive by he'd make the sound, and even now, it's sound effects all day long, he really gets into it.
-when he prays, he doesn't fold his arms, he intertwines his fingers, every time.
-he's cuddly
-he can be very focused, sometimes it's hard to pull him away from something he's working on "earth to Jonah!"
